Building more inclusive workplaces for all workers across Europe

May marks the European Diversity Month to raise awareness about diversity and discrimination in all areas, including work.

The latest survey of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights reveals that LGBTIQ people are more exposed to face violence, harassment, and bullying than before, especially the youngest, who are particularly vulnerable. 

EU-OSHA’s research shows that LGBTI workers report poorer physical and mental health compared with the general population, including musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) related problems.

An increasingly diverse European workforce requires a successful occupational safety and health (OSH) management, embracing the concepts of worker participation, awareness raising, and prevention.
