Roadmap on Carcinogens’ closing event in Brussels

Under the Belgian presidency of Council of the European Union, the Roadmap’s closing event is taking place on 12‐13 June at the Residence Palace in Brussels.

During this experts’ meeting, the state of play on carcinogens at work and the Roadmap’s achievements are presented. Besides, the roadmap partners reflect on the current status and implementation strategies. The priorities of the Belgian presidency regarding the prevention of carcinogens at work are also addressed.

William Cockburn, EU-OSHA’s Executive Director, along with Elke Schneider, Senior OSH Specialist, and Marine Cavet, Research Project Manager, discuss future concerns and present the results of the Workers’ exposure survey on cancer risk factors in Europe (WES). Brenda O’Brien from the agency’s Brussels Liaison Office moderates the event.
