Digital transformation is changing workplaces and occupational safety and health (OSH), including in micro and small enterprises (MSEs). The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA) and our Greek focal point Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs are hosting a training seminar aimed at MSE owners on 29 May in Athens.

On the agenda, safety at work discussions, its basic principles, the Greek OSH system and legislation, as well as the process and importance of carrying out regular risk assessments.

The national focal point manager will provide an overview of EU-OSHA’s Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools, emphasising their role as digital tools supporting companies to effectively conduct risk assessments to identify and manage OSH risks. The session will showcase available examples in Greece and demonstrate their functioning with a live training workshop.

A presentation will also be shared on the Healthy Workplaces ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ Campaign, highlighting its objectives and key points. Finally, several Napo episodes illustrating various OSH risks in an easy manner will be screened.
